Below is a sample of what is on offer for our holiday program. Some activities may run longer or even shorter than timetabled, this being due to the fascinations and levels of engagement of our children. As this holiday camp is based upon the philosophy of child-led experiences, children will engage regularly in discussions in relation to what they would like to engage in from day to day, with the guidance of staff to offer children what possibilities are on offer at D.N.K. through the reflection of our holiday camp floor books. Trips are on fixed days due to the requirement to organise staffing and transport.

It is a good week for awards here at Dunblane Nature Kindergarten. We have just received our plaque for our Green Tree Schools Gold Award. This is awarded by the Woodland Trust for “completing environmental projects and encouraging outdoor learning while inspiring youngsters about woods and trees”.
In support of Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) Dunblane Nature Kindergarten held the following activities for all their families in the Dunblane Laighills Park on Saturday 30th May:
– Bake sale
– Charity parents vs Staff footy match
– Challenge obstacle run

The staff team wish to give an exciting introduction to fundraising while our children participate in a variety of play activities. This helps us in our goal to teach children in our care to be responsible citizens and effective contributors, making the world a better place.
We are very proud to have the opportunity to raise awareness for this fantastic and very worthy cause. Sands supports anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth. They offer emotional support and information for parents, grandparents, siblings, children, families and friends, health professionals and others.
