As part of Dunblane Nature Kindergarten’s engagement with the local community in Dunblane and further afield, we decided to demonstrate support for the work of the Strathcarron Hospice by planting a small snowdrop garden at our kindergarten. Dunblane Nature Kindergarten and other local nurseries within the Bertram Nursery Group have fundraised and supported Strathcarron Hospice in the past so were delighted to have this opportunity in keeping with their natural philosophy. The snowdrop bulbs were supplied by the Hospice and some excess bulbs were distributed to the children’s families as well as to the local Dunblane Centre. Angela Gillies and Gemma Greer (from Strathcarron Hospice and the Dunblane Centre respectively) visited the kindergarten on 3rd February to exchange commemorative plaques to make visible the support for the work of the Hospice.
